Eric, he is the groom. He loves Patty because she makes him laugh more than anyone else in the world. She is so sweet and funny and smart. I love her. I'm writing this. Eric is the webmaster.
PATRICIA- Romero -
Patricia, she really is the better half. She's the piece of oreo that got all the filling when you pulled it apart. She's the side of the avocado without the pit. She's the ice cream cone before it gets all melty. She's the second batch of pancakes, after the griddle has heated up properly and the pancakes get all brown and toasty around the edges. She's the perfect watermelon - juicy, sweet, firm, and seedless.

STORY
We've been together for 13 years and are getting married on March 13th! We first bonded over our love of music, comedy, and musical comedy! We love experiencing life together, whether it's live music, live comedy, great food, great drinks, or even a quiet night of board games and a movie. We want the headline of our wedding to be "fun", and we can't wait to see you there!
OUR FIRST MEETING
We met at Best Buy ...
DATING!
We graduated from Portland State University together in 2016, and had a lot of great times along the way.
In 2020, Patty started a graduate program at UT Austin and we moved across the country in the height of the pandemic.
ERIC PROPOSED
Eric rented a private karaoke room for him and Patty and popped the question after singing Earth Angel by The Penguins. (Back to the Future anyone??) You might hear a callback to this at the wedding!

WHERE & WHEN
We are getting married in Austin, Texas at The Cathedral, a beautiful event space and art gallery in Austin's inner east side. We love the aesthetic of their art and the lovely, intimate feel of the space. We can't wait to show it to y'all 😊.
CEREMONY
Currently we are planning a small ceremony with just immediate family. We'll let you know if that changes, but for now you can plan on just partying with us at the reception!

🚨 HEADS UP 🚨: Our wedding is during SXSW 😱😱😱🙀! People have warned us this was a bad idea and we did it anyway 😈. Let us know if you're having trouble booking a place! Here are some hotel blocks we reserved, or feel free to book your own thing.
SATURDAY MORNING HANG
We're gonna do something on Saturday morning! It will probably be at our place and probably involve coffee and pastries. It will be chill and mellow, just a nice time to say "hi" after the party. Plan your flights accordingly if you're interested in attending!
